In honor of Carlos Jose Fajardo, Healing the Children-Florida, and its local supporters in the Clubs & Scrubs for Kids organization, celebrates every holiday season by helping those he cared about most…the children.
Carlos Jose Fajardo founded the Healing the Children-Florida medical mission to Neiva, Colombia 30 years ago and dedicated his life to its success. He was a visionary who believed we could change the world one child at a time. Mr. Fajardo completed his final journey home in October 2020 due to COVID-19 complications. His son, Dr. Roberto Jose Fajardo, continues the legacy alongside his family and individuals with the same passion to help children in need.
The 2023 Toy drive was a great success.
Healing the Children, in partnership with the the Reindeer Brigade, raised $2,676 in toy donations this Holiday Season. Children at Child Safe, the Boys and Girls Clubs of SA, and St. PJs House, benefitted from your generosity.
Since our first toy drive in 2020, our Toys for Kids drives have raised approximately $23,000 in toy donations for children in crisis. Thank you for supporting this cause.
We will have another Toys for Kids Holiday Season Toy Drive in 2023.
